About Caroline
I’ve been on both sides of the preparation.
Before I ever coached someone through an audition or interview, I was the one preparing for them.
I competed in pageantry, twirled at the collegiate level, navigated auditions, interviews, performances, deadlines, and plenty of moments when I wished I had a clearer roadmap.
Today, I use those experiences to help young women and twirlers prepare more intentionally for the opportunities that matter to them.
The Experience
Experience matters. So does knowing how to use it.
My background sits at the intersection of the two worlds I coach today.
I twirled at Baylor University and The University of Texas, where serving as a feature twirler meant representing the university, the band, and the sport of baton twirling.
As Miss Texas, I gained far more than competition experience. The role became one of the greatest personal and professional development opportunities of my life through public speaking, school presentations, appearances, and travel across the state.
Those experiences taught me that these roles are about more than performing well. They require communication, confidence, adaptability, and the ability to represent something larger than yourself — all areas I now help my clients develop.

My Approach
Preparation Built Around You
I don’t believe good coaching means giving everyone the same formula.
The strongest preparation starts by understanding where you are, what you’re working toward, and what makes your situation uniquely yours.
For Twirl U, that might mean organizing a college list, navigating deadlines, strengthening audition materials, or figuring out what comes next.
For Pageant U, it might mean refining paperwork, identifying the stories behind your experiences, or learning how to communicate more naturally when the question is unexpected.
The details are different. The philosophy is the same:
- Get organized.
- Understand the process.
- Know what you want to communicate.
- Practice before the pressure is real.
And leave room for your own personality throughout all of it.
Where It Started
Twirl U started with a resource gap I knew firsthand.
When I was preparing to twirl in college, there wasn’t a clear roadmap for navigating the process.
Every program was different. Timelines were different. Expectations were different. And much of the information twirlers and families needed was scattered or learned along the way.
After twirling at both Baylor and The University of Texas, I knew there had to be a better way to help the next generation prepare.
I created Twirl U to give twirlers and their families the organization, education, and individualized guidance I wish I had while navigating the collegiate audition process.
Since 2020, Twirl U has grown into a resource for twirlers across the country pursuing feature and line positions at collegiate programs nationwide.
Pageant U
Different competition. Same belief in preparation.
Pageant coaching felt like a natural extension of the work I was already doing.
My own experience in pageantry showed me how much of the process happens long before competition day — through paperwork, interview preparation, public speaking, and learning how to communicate your experiences with clarity.
Through Pageant U, I help competitors strengthen their paperwork, develop their messaging, prepare for interview, and become more comfortable responding when the question isn’t predictable.
The goal isn’t to memorize more answers or create a competition version of yourself. It’s to understand what you want to communicate, practice expressing it well, and walk into the room more prepared.
The Through Line
The opportunity changes. The preparation still matters.
A college audition and a pageant interview may look completely different.
But both ask you to walk into an important moment prepared to communicate, make decisions, adapt, and trust the work you’ve already done.
That’s what connects everything I do. I help clients make the process feel less overwhelming, understand what deserves their attention, and prepare thoughtfully for what comes next.
Beyond the Coaching
And when I’m not preparing someone for what’s next…
You’ll probably find me working from my laptop, traveling to teach and judge, spending time with my husband and our golden retriever, Mable, or finding an excuse to talk about college twirling long after the workday is technically over.
I love organization, thoughtful preparation, good conversation, and helping people take something that feels complicated and make it feel manageable.
